Call to meeting 0830.
Present: T. Novak, B. Lambel, M. Pastori, A. Grandgeorge.
Absent: T. Evans, M. Murphy, M. Kowalczyk.
Treasurers Report: Incoming checks have stopped. Grandgeorge is working with finance to get
access to our account for check total this year.
We are also attempting to setup a direct deposit account for companies to utilize.
Secreterys report: Approval of minutes for the past two meetings. Unanimously approved.
New Submittals: FDIC submittal for 2017. The same restrictions apply as in the past.
Lambel- Concerns the money would run out prior to FDIC in April.
Pastori- Review of the past two years the monetary amount was never reached and if for some
reason does this time there can be a new submittal at a later date.
Motion to vote on FDIC submittal by B. Lambel. 2nd by T. Novak. Unanimously approved.
Submittal by M. Hayes for cooking smokers at the three station.
Hayes- Believes it is a high quality and well built smoker that would take the abuse of the
outdoors and repeated use. Cheaper models are not as well constructed.
Novak- Concerned the usage may not justify the high cost of the units. Even the replacement of
lesser smokers is not as much.
Lambel- Maybe an allotment to allow for a trial period of cheaper smokers.
Grandgeorge- An allotment would not follow the standards of multiple quotes.
No action taken on the submittal.
General business- The foreign fire tax board should look into changing the collection form it
sends out to companies. We get back many replies needing clarification. Will look into updating
the form.
Established another date for further discussion.
Another FFTB meeting will be on 12/13/16 at 0830.
