RE: Quarterly Retainer
Dear Pension Board:
We wrote in January of this year to advise our clients as to office changes. We have recently
tried to improve our services to our clients, such as overseeing annual physical examinations and
keeping clients updated on important legislation. We have, however, incurred increased costs for
utilities, travel expenses, and other costs.
We have therefore had to review our billing for retainers and hourly billing rates. The new rates
are as follows:
Retainer: $575.00
Hourly Rate: $150.00 per hour for adversarial matters.
As you are aware, we do not increase our fees annually and it has been several years since we
last increased our fees. We hope you will review and approve these increases at your next
meeting.
