OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance authorizes the creation of one
additional Class "R" liquor license for Nina
Restaurant to be located within the Mount Prospect
Commons Shopping Center, Golf & Busse Roads. (Exh~t A)
E. Request to allow the new owners of Mr. Peters to
continue operation under the existing Class "E"
liquor license and the new owners of Liquor
Shoppe, 1728 W. Dempster Street, to continue
operation under the existing Class "C" liquor
license, to be known as Jay Liquor.
F. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Code to permit non-
alcoholic items to be sold at a liquor counter
in larger grocery stores. (Exhibit B)

A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 4164 FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
215 EAST PROSPECT AVENUE
This Ordinance extends the time period for
variations granted in Ordinance No. 4164 for
one additional year. (Exhibit C)
B. 1st reading of ~ ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 4170 FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
7 SOUTH EDW~D STREET
This Ordinance extends the time period for
variations granted in Ordinance No. 4170 for
one additional year. 'Exhibit D)

A. ZBA 9~V-91, 1625 East Dogwood Lane
The Petitioner is requesting variations to
· allow an accessory building 13 feet in height,
rather than the permitted 10 feet; to allow two
accessory bUildings on one lot; to allow an 18"
sideyard, rather than the minimum of 5 feet; and,
to allow a one foot separation between the
principal structure and an accessory building,
rather than the l0 feet required. The Zoning
Board of Appeals voted to deny the variation to
allow 13 foot tall accessory building by a vote
of 3-3; to approval two accessory buildings by a
vote of 6-0; to approve the relocation of the shed
resulting in an 18" sideyard by a vote of 5-1; and,
to approval a one foot separation by a vote of 5-1.
B. ZBA 10-V-91, 1715 Robbie Lane
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow
a driveway width of 28' 10" at the widest point
t~ accommodate an existing patio. The Zoning Board
of Appeals recommended granting this request by a
vote of 6-0.
C. ZBA 6-Z-91 and ZBA ll-V-91, 412 and 414 E. Rand Road
1. The Petitioner is requesting the subject.
property be rezoned from R-1 (Single Family)
to B-2 (Business office) in order to construct
an office building. Also requested is a
variation to waive the required loading space.
The Zoning Boardof Appeals recommended
granting the rezoning by a vote of 6-0 and
the variation by a vote of 5-1.
2. Request to amend the Comprehensive Plan
The Petitioner has requested the Comprehensive
Plan be amended to reflect General Commercial/
Office rather than Single Family on the
subject property. The Plan Commission
recommends granting this amendment by a
vote of 8-0.
3~. Request for modification from the Development
Code (Chapter 16)
The Petitioner is requesting a modification
from the Development Code (Chapter 16) to
waive the requirement to install street
lights. The Petitioner has agreed to enter
into a Restrictive Covenant guaranteeing
the installation of the required street
lights at a future date. The Plan Commission
recommends granting this modification by a
vote of 8-0 based on the execution of a
Restrictive Covenant.
D., ZBA 12-V-91, 230 - 240 East Lincoln Street
The Petitioner is requesting variations to allow a
5 foot interior sideyard for a parking lot, rather
than the required 10 feet; a 15 foot front yard for
parking, rather than the required 30 feet; and, to
waive the required loading space~ The Petitioner
would like to construct a new industrial building
on the subject property. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting these variations
by a vote of 6-0.
E. ZBA 13-A-91, Text Amendment
The Zoning Board of Appeals requested specific
amendments to the Fence'Code. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this amendment by a
vote of 5-1.
F. Request for a field change to the Old Orchard
Lexington Development to permit townhomes or
manorhomes, rather than being restricted to
townhomes.
G. Plat of SUbdivision - Lake Center Plaza
H. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16
(DEVELOPMENT CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance amends the language governing
Recaptures. The Plan Commission recommends
approving this amendment by a vote of 8-0. (Exhibit E)
I. 1st reading of ANORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance adopts Chapter 95-1/2 "Illinois
Vehicle Code" of the Illinois State Statutes
by reference. (Exhibit F)
J. Motion to change the regular meeting of the
Village Board from April 2, 1991 (Election
Day) to Wednesday, April 3, 1991.
