FinancialReport Onceagain,therewasnoFinancialReportprovidedbytheVoMP.Asfaras weknowthereisapproximately$17,000+intheSECtreasury.Fromthatbalance$3,500was senttoOrchestra33asadepositfortheCentennialBanquet,thisrepresentsa50%deposit. 4thofJulyParade Spent$8,830onmusic/modelA’sfortheevent.Therewere77units includingGovernorandMrs.Rauner,7ofthoseunitscameinafterJune30th.Therewasa “SpeakOut”intheJournalregardingthegymnastsperformingontopofflatbed.Thatcannot happennextyear.Ofthe77units10werenewtoourparade.NextyearMPCCandMPFA needtobeplacedtogether.Wehadmoremusicthanever.Candyonceagainwasanissue withkidsrunninginstreetandpeoplenottossingbehindkids.Nextyearusebothachalkline andflagstokeepspectatorsonthecurb.Lastly,needmorepeopletomanthestreets. FamilyBikeRide August13,2016Thecommitteehasaskedthatanyonehelpingattheridebe thereat8:30,check-instartsat9:00andtherideat9:30.SECwillbegivingaway250bags stuffedwithgoodies.FillersforthegoodiebagsneedtobetoTeresabyAugust11th.Weare inneedofCERTmembers.TheMPPDwillbeshowingupwithtwo(2)policeofficers,we believethereisaneedformore,MarkPopemayhavetoride. Christinavolunteeredtogetthe bikefortheraffle,weneedapproximately10raffleitemsincludingthePigtailsandCrewCuts hairsalon.ThosethatwillbeprocuringrafflesareTeresa,ChristinaandLizzet.Theridewill onceagainbelooping.JillwillbegettingthewaterfromtheMPLionsClubandTeresawillbe pickingupbananasandgranola.ChristinaandTeresawillbecheckingwithparkdistrictsto confirmnumbers. NYEE Willnotbetakingplacein2016. CentennialCelestialCelebration PostcardsweredoneandhandedoutattheConcertinthe Parkandatthe4thofJulyParade.Thisyearwewillbeputtingareservationdeadlineon invitationwhichwillread:$65perpersonbeforeJanuary18,2017and$75perperson beginningJanuary19,2017.Fredhasagreedtopassoutthepostcardsorthe3”x9”cardwith reservation.Anotherwaytogetthewordoutabouteventisthevillagewaterbill.Members wouldalsoliketoseeformalinvitationssentout.TomwillbeourconnectionatPro-Mix~what willourneedsbefortheevent?Asforthefavortastingtookplaceanddifferentpriceswere quoted.Onceagainminimalwillbewritteninminutes,wouldliketokeepsomeaspectsofthe dinnerasurprise.ThecommitteeofLiz,ChristinaandJillneedtogetworkingonthesilent auctionitemssothosecanbedoneandcheckedoffthelist.
