Minutes of October 3, 2015

Roll Call Sandy DiCaro, Maura Drews, Jill Friedrichs, Christina Greco, Linda Hoefert, Paul Seils,
Teresa VanOpdorp and Lizzet Stone -Witkowski
Absent Vicki Busse, Kathy Janonis, Fred Steinmiller and Tarina Wimmer
Call to Order 9:07 a.m.
Secretary's Report Motion to approve the Minutes of September 12, 2015 made by Linda Hoefert,
seconded by Christina Greco. No discussion held. Motion approved unanimously.
Financial Report A report was given by Teresa VanOpdorp. All Bike Ride donations and bills have been
submitted, this is the first time in the ride history the SEC has had income that exceeded expenses.
Thanks to those members that solicited businesses for donations.
Christkindlemarket Applications to vendors has been sent out. The committee is looking to find fresh,
different art forms to display at the market. The co-chairs have begun to work on the event check -list.
Holiday House Decorating Paul Seils told members the information packets on decorating criteria and
village maps will be distributed at the November meeting.
Celestial Celebration 2016 Will be held February 5, 2016 at Cotillion Banquets. The venue has been
booked and have requested what we've been offered in the past and also include appetizers. Again, the
color scheme will be champagne (ivory) and burgundy. The letters to nominate an individuals has been
updated and will be mailed soon. The donation committee would like an updated letter.
Centennial Celestial Celebration 2017 Discussion held on the event.
Next meeting: Saturday, November 14th, 9:00 a.m., Community Room, Village Hall.
