OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOLTNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance deletes the Class "R" liquor
license issued to House of Scechwan, 10 N. Main,
due to the fact that the new owners will not
offer alcoholic beverages. (Exhibit A)

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
(ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Zoning Ordinance to
require a special use permit for a non-residential
use in a residential district. (Exhibit B)
B. ZBA 51-V-92, 1702 West Algonquin Road
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GEANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1702 WEST ALGONQUIN ROAD
This Ordinance grants a variation for Jameson's
Char House, to waive the required loading dock
and to reduce the number of non-conforming
parking spaces by one. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a
vote of 6-0. (Exhibit C)
C. ZBA 54-SU-92, 416 South Mount Prospect Road
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 416 SOUTH
MOUNT PROSPECT ROAD
This Ordinance grants a Special Use permit to
allow a satellite dish ten feet in diameter
to be located in the rear yard. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this
request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit D)
D. ZBA 58-V-92, 515 North Fairview
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 515 NORTH FAIRVIEW
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow
a front yard setback of 23' 6", instead of
the required 30 feet, in order to construct a
porch with overhead roof. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended granting this request by a
vote of 5-1. Exhibit E)
E. ZBA 55-V-92, 400 North Forest Avenue
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 400 NORTH FOREST AVENUE
-This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a
five foot separation between the principal and
accessory structure, rather than the required
10 feet, in order to construct a two-car
detached garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of
5-0. Exhibit F)
F. ZBA 62-V~92, 50 South Emerson Street
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 50 SOUTH EMERSON STREET
This Ordinance grants variations to allow a
maximum lot coverage of 90.05%, instead of the
permitted 75% and to allow 39 parking spaces,
instead of the required 55, in order to construct
a one-story addition to the Senior Citizen Center.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
these requests by a vote of 5-0. Exhibit G)
G. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Sign Code by creating
a Special Use category for off-premise signs
(Charlie Club). The Sign Review Board
recommended denying this request by a vote
of 4-1. Exhibit H)
IX. N~WBUSINESS
A. ZBA 59-Z-92 and ZBA 60-SU-92, 805 Edgewood Lane
1. The Petitioner is requesting the subject
property be re-zoned from R-X to R-l, to
permit the subdivision of this large lot
into 2 lots in order to construct 2 single
family homes. Also requested is a Special
Use to permit a 3-car garage and driveway
30 feet wide, tapering to 21 feet at the
property line. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting these requests by a
vote of 6-0.
2. Request for modifiCation from the Development
Code to waive the requirements to install
sidewalks, curb and ~utter, street paving,
street lighting, and a modification from the
required lot depth. The Plan Commission
recommended granting these requests by a
vote of 7-0.
B. ZBA 63-V-92, 1028 Beechwood
1. The Petitioner is requesting variations to
allow a 27 foot wide driveway and lot coverage
of 40%, rather than the permitted 35%. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting these requests by a vote of 7-0.
2. Request for modification from the Development
Code to allow a driveway apron 27 feet in
width, rather than the permitted 21 feet.
The Plan Commission recommended granting
this request by a vote of 5-0.
C. ZBA 66-V-92 and ZBA 67-SU-92, 1430 Bonita
The Petitioner is requesting a Special Use to
permit a 3-car garage and variations to permit
driveway width of 26' 8" and a 48% lot coverage,
rather than the permitted 35%. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting these
requests by a vote of 7-0.
D. Request for modification from the Development Code
to waive the requirement to install sidewalks in
conjunction with this commercial property at
2016 East Euclid Avenue. The Plan Commission
recommended granting this request by a vote of
7-0.
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21
ENTITLED "BUILDING CODE" OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance authorizes any deposit balance
remaining after notification to be forfeited and
deposited in the Village's General Fund. (Exhibit J)

G. tst reading of AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CHARGES
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWER SERVICES
ON WILDWOOD LANE
This Ordinance authorizes the Village to
recapture a portion of the costs incurred for
the Wildwood Lane improvement, in conjunction
with the Pate Subdivision. (Exhibit K)
