EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION: General Government B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance creates a Class 'S' liquor license for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, a new restaurant located in Randhurst Shopping Center, occupying the area formerly used by Kroch & Brentano's. (Exhibit A) C. Appointments VIII..OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends the Sign Code by creating a Special Use category for off-premise signs (Charlie Club). The Sign Review Board recommended approving this request by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit B) * PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN DATE DUE TO THE NATIONAL ELECTION B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE A/~EI~DING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance establishes the prohobition to Dark on the north side of Prospect Avenue between Maple Street and a point 335 feet east of Emerson Street. The Safety Commission recommended granting this amendment. (Exhibit C) IX. ~ BUSII~-~SS A. ZBA 47-Z-92 & ZBA 48-SU-92, Randhurst Townhomes These cases have been withdrawn by the Petitioner. B. ZBA 69-SU-92, 1811 Sitka Lane The Petitioner is requesting a Special Use to allow a commercial vehicle, with a licensed weight or more than the permitted 8,000 lbs., to be housed in a garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. C. ZBA 70-V-92, 214 S. Hi Lusi The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a 2' setback along the interior side property line, instead of the required 5' in order to replace an existing one car detached garage with a new 2-car garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. D. ZBA 71-V-92, 204 S. See Gwun The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a minimum interior sideyard setback of 5' instead of the required 7.5', to allow construction of a 2-car attached garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. E. A RESOLUTION RELEASING SPECIFIED MINUTES OF EXECUTIVE SESSIONS (Exhibit D) F. Accept improvements installed in conjunction with the Sable Chase Apartments, 1900 S. Busse Road X. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Bid results: 1. Roof and gutter replacement on Village owned property located at 100 and 106 W. Northwest Highway and included in the triangle redevelopment area. B.
