The Petitioner is requesting the subject property be
rezoned from I-1 (Light Industrial) District to R-3 (Apartment
Residence) District and a Special Use Permit to allow a
Planned Unit Development to permit 82 townhomes. The
original request for 92 townhomes was amended at the
Zoning Board of Appeals meeting to allow 82 townhomes.
The recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals to approve
these requests resulted in a vote of 3 Ayes and 4 Nays, therefore
requiring a 2/3 vote of the President and 8oard present
and voting in order to approve these requests. Please note that
a revised site plan has been submitted indicating 74 units. This
