PUBLIC HEARING This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the Mount Prospect Journal and Topics on January 29, 1993, is being held for the purpose of considering the vacation of alleys abutting School and Owen Streets between Northwest Highway ~ and Evergreen Avenue and those abutting Owen and William Streets, between Milburn and Evergreen, which alleys are no longer useful or necessary to the Village. 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN ALLEYS IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit A) 2. Authorize Mayor to sign and Clerk to attest his signature on the Plat of Vacation for the alley being the subject of the preceding Ordinance. B. ZBA 1-V-93, 1129 Thomas More Terrace The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a circular driveway for a new home. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. C. ZBA 2-V-93, 1810 Pheasant Trail The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a floor area ratio .35, instead of the .30 permitted, for a room addition.. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of D. ZBA 5-Z-93, 630 West Rand Road (Shell Station) The Petitioner is requesting the subject property be re-zoned ~rom FIX (granted upon annexation) to B-3 and a Special Use in order to allow an automotive service station. This is an existing use. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. E. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE INTERSECTION OF KENSINGTON AND WHEELING ROADS (Exhibit B) F. A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS This Resolution authorizes the appropriation of $16,000.00 from Motor Fuel Tax Funds for the improvement of the intersection of Kensington and Wheeling Roads. (Exhibit C) G. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISCHARGE OF SANITARY AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE INTO ANY STORM SEWER OR DRAINAGE FACILITY CONSTRUCTED AS A PART OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE INTERSECTION OF KENSINGTON AND WHEELING ROADS (Exhibit D) H. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ENCROACHMENTS WITHIN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS RIGHT~)F-WAY ALONG KENSINGTON ROAD (Exhibit E) I.
