OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN ALLEYS LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance authorizes the vacation of the alley abutting School and Owen Streets between Northwest Highway and Evergreen Avenue and the alley abutting Owen and William Streets, between Milburn and Evergreen Avenues. A Public Hearing was held before the Village Board on February 16, 1993 relative to the proposed vacation of these alleys. [Exhibit A) B. Authorize Mayor to sign and Clerk to attest his signature on the Plat of Vacation of certain alleys: C. ZBA 1-V-93, 1129 Thomas More Terrace 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1129 THOMAS MORE TERRACE This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a circular driveway for a new home. The Zoning Board of Appea~s recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit B) O. ZBA 2-V-93, 1810 Pheasant Trail 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1810 PHEASANT TRAIL This Ordinance grants a variation to permit a floor area ratio of .35, instead of the permitted .30, allowing for the construction of a room addition. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit C) E. ZBA 5~Z-93, 630 West Rand Road I. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE V~LLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance re-zones the subject property, a Shell Service Station, from R-X, which was assigned upon annexation, to B-3. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit D) 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 630 VVEST RAND ROAD This Ordinance grants a Special Use to allow an automotive service station in a B-3 District. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit E) IX. NEW BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF UPPER DES PLAINES 20 C EXTENSION SEVVER, PUMPING STATION AND FORCE MAIN This Ordinance grants an easement for the MWRD sewer extension project at Oakton and Elmhurst (Exhibit F) X. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Bid Result: 1. Warning Siren B. Request to waive bidding procedure and authorize the purchase of a copy machine for the Fire Department. C. Accept proposal to hire consultant to develop Comprehensive Urban Forestry Management Plan in an amount not to exceed $5,500. D. Change Work Order for Hatlen Heights Sewer Project E.
