ORDINANCE NO. 6205
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6148 GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT FOR A FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, CONDITIONAL USE
FOR A DRIVE-THROUGH ESTABLISHMENT & VARIATION FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 990-1145 MOUNT PROSPECT PLAZA, 940-950 EAST RAND ROAD
AND 1200-1220 EAST CENTRAL ROAD MOUNT PROSPECT ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois did adopt
Ordinance No. 6148 entitled "An Ordinance Granting A Conditional Use Permit for a Final Planned Unit
Development, Conditional Use for a Drive -Through Establishment & Variation for Property located at
Mount Prospect Plaza, 990-1145 Mt. Prospect Plaza, 940-950 East Rand Road and 1200- 1220 East
Central Road at their regular meeting on July 15, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Ramco -Gershenson Properties, L. P. ("Petitioner'), is requesting an extension of the zoning
approvals granted by Ordinance No. 6148 by the Mayor and Village Board at their regular meeting on
July 15, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioner plans to complete the project and is seeking to renew the zoning approvals to
construct the two (2) additional retail buildings at the Mount Prospect Plaza; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect find that it is in the best
interests of the Village to grant the Petitioner's request to extend the effective date for Conditional Uses
and Variation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR
HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: That the recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: Ordinance No. 6148, is hereby amended to extend the effective date of the Conditional
Uses and Variation to July 15, 2016.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
