A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance creates a Class "R' liquor license for the Crabster
Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant to be located at 17'16-1718 East
Kensington Road. (Exhibit A)

A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance allows school buses to turn right off Rand Road
onto Prospect Manor between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10 AM. (Exhibit B)
B. Consider recommendations of the Safety Commission relative to
traffic controls on the 200 block of North Louis Street:
a. No Parking on the east side of Louis Street; and
b. 2 Hour Parking on Monday through Saturday on
the west side of Louis Street
It was also the recommendation of the Safety Commission
that 'permit parking' on 200 block of North Louis Street not
be considered.
C. M & M Park Subdivision, 1022 Linneman Road
1. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY
KNOVVN AS M & M PARK SUBDIVISION (1022 Linneman Road)
This Ordinance grants modifications from the Development
Code, deferring the installation of sidewalks, curbs/gutters,
street lights, street pavement width and storm sewer until
required by the Village. The Plan Commission recommended
granting these requests. (Exhibit C)
2. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
RESTRICTIVE COVENANT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN AS M & M PARK SUBDIVISION
This Restrictive Covenant guarantees the Petitioner will install
specified public improvements when required by the Village. (Exhibit D)
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 78-V-93, 523 We Go Trail
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a 72" wide service
walk to encroach onto the required sideyard setback, rather than
the permitted 36". The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0.
B. ZBA 80,Z-93 and ZBA 81-SU-93, Lake Center Corporate Park
(Elmhurst and Algonquin Roads)
The Petitioner is requesting that the portion of the subject property
zoned I-1 (Light Industrial) be rezoned to B-3 (Community Shopping
District) and that portion presently zoned O/R (Office Research)
also be rezoned to B-3 (Community Shopping District). Also
requested is a Special Use in the nature of a Planned Unit
Development to allow for Target Department Store. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granted these requests by a vote
of 6-0.
C. PUBLIC HEARING
1. The purpose of this Public Headng, called pursuant to proper
legal notice, is to consider vacating a walkway. This 20 foot
wide area located between 1011 and 1013 South Lancaster
was dedicated for a public walkway, however, the sidewalk has
never been installed and the abutting homeowners would like
to assume ownership and add it back onto the tax rolls.

D. A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE
HOUSING AFFORDABILI'I'Y STRATEGY REPORT FOR 1994
This Resolution, as required by HUD, sets forth the annual report.
The Plan Commission recommended a~pfing this report. (Exhibit F) '
· E. Accept improvements installed in conjunction with the parking lot
for the New Life Apostolic Faith Church, One West Euclid Avenue
Xl. VILLAGE MANAGER'S' REPORT
A. Bid results:
1. Turn Out Gear for Fire Department
B. Request to reject bid of Frank's Creative Landscaping, previously
accepted by the Village Board in conjunction with the water/sewer
projects, due to lack of performance and to accept next lowest
bid submitted by Weiler Nursery for this restoration program.
C. Status Report
