A. ZBA 44-V-93, 628 Bob-O-Link
2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 628 BOB-O-LINK
This Ordinance grants a variation to allow a front yard
setback of 20 feet, instead of the required minimum 30 feet,
in order to allow an existing porch to remain. Also requested
is a variation to allow a second ddveway to be added off
Forest Avenue. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit B)
B. ZBA 45-Z-93, 1022 Linneman Road
1. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OFiMOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance rezones the subject property from R-X to R-1
(Single Family).. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0; (Exhibit C)
C. '. EImhurst Place Subdivision, 1000 North Elmhurst Road
1. Elmhurst Place Plat of Subdivision
This subdivision creates 7 lots for single family homes.
The Plan Commission recommended approving this
subdivision.
2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS
FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOVVN AS ELMHURST
PLACE SUBDIVISION
This Ordinance grants modifications from the Development
Code as to lot depth, and to waive the requirement to install
certain public improvements. The Plan Commission
recommended granting these requests. (Exhibit D)
3. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
RESTRICTIVE COVENANT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOVVN AS THE ELMHURST PLACE SUBDIVISION
The Restrictive Covenant authorized by this Resolution
guarantees installation of the sidewalks, curb and gutters
at a future date to be determined by the Village. (Exhibit E)
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 57-V-93, 504 South Main Street
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a room addition
to be within 6.83 feet of an accessory structure, rather than the
required 10 feet. The Zoning Board' of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 7-0.
B. ZBA 58-V-93, 423 South Pine Street
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow a six foot service
walk to encroach into the side yard. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-1.
C.. ZBA 59-V-93, 221 North Eastwood
The Petitioner is requesting a variation to allow an exterior side yard
setback of 9' 9", instead of the required 20', in order to construct:.
a detached garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
denying this request by a vote of 3-4.
D. ZBA 60-SU-93, Circuit City, Randhurst Shopping Center
The Petitioner is requesting a Special Use to allow a satellite
antenna. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting
this request by a vote of*7-0.
E. A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS
This Resolution appropriates $500,000 from the MFT Fund for
the reconstruction of portions of Apache Lane, Boulder Ddve
and Haven Street. (Exhibit F)
