OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance grants a Class "W" liquor license to an existing
restaurant, Los Arcos, located at 1707 W, Algonquin Road. (Exhibit A)
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance grants a Class "S" liquor license to East
Side Marlo's, a new restaurant occupying the new building
to be built at the southwest corner of the Randhurst Shopping
Center. (Exhibit B)

A. ZBA 80-Z-93 and ZBA 81-SU-93, Lake Center Corporate Park
(Elmhurst and Algonquin Roads)
At the request of the Petitioner the 2nd readings of the Ordinances
amending the Official Zoning Map of the Village, amending the
Planned Unit Development and, amending the Comprehensive
Plan will be presented at a date in the near future.
B. ZBA 71-Z-93 and ZBA 72-SU-93, Northeast comer of Rand Road
and Euclid Avenue
At the request of the Petitioner, action on these cases has been
deferred until a date in the near future.
C. The subject of parking on the 200 block of North Louis Street
has been deferred until February 15th.
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE GOVERNOR AND
' GENERAL ASSEMBLY NOT ENACT ANY LAW WHICH WOULD
PREEMPT THE ABILITY OF MOUNT PROSPECT, AS A HOME
RULE COMMUNITY, TO PROHIBIT OR REGULATE ANY
GAMBLING ACTIVITY WITHIN ITS CORPORATE LIMITS (Exhibit C)
B. A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC REFERENDUM PRIOR
TO THE INTRODUCTION OF PERMANENT CASINO
ESTABLISHMENTS, BETTING PARLORS, SLOT MACHINES,
VIDEO LOTTERY TERMINALS (ALSO KNOWN AS VIDEO
GAMBLING MACHINES) OR ANY OTHER FORM OF LEGALIZED .
GAMBLING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE (Exhibit D)
C.Accept improvements located within the Old Orchard Country
Club Village
D. Consider motion to temporarily waive the rule requiring the
Chairman of the Economic Development Commission tO be
a resident of the Village of Mount Prospect.

A. Bid results:
1. Traffic signal maintenance
B. Approve engineering with Triton Engineering Phase I and Phase II
for the reconstruction of Seminole Lane (Old Willow Road) project.
C. Accept proposal from R. V. Norene and Associates as financial
consultants and proposal from Lewis Greenbaum of Katten, Muchin
& Zavis to serve as bond counsel.
