The Petitioner is requesting the property be rezoned from R-1

in order to allow four 5-story buildings with a total of 200
residential condominium Units.

USE TO ALLOW A DAY CARE CENTER WITHIN THE PLAZA
UNITED SHOPPING CENTER
This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use to allow a Day
Care Center to occupy approximately 2,400 square feet in
this Shopping Center. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of 5-1. (Exhibit B)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS
1713 VERDE COURT
This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use to allow a detached
garage designed to house more than two motor vehicles.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting the
request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit C)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN
AS MOUNT PROSPECT CLOCKTOWER PLACE
This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use in the nature
of a Planned Unit Development to construct a mixed use
development containing approximately 7,500 square feet of
retail space in two structures and 139 residential units
in three buildings with accessory parking. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this Planned Unit
Development by a vote of 5-1. (Exhibit D)
2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Comprehensive Plan of the
Village to reflect multi-family residential with medium density.
The Plan Commission recommended granting this request by
a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit E)
3. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A MODIFICATION
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS MOUNT PROSPECT
CLOCKTOWER PLACE
This Ordinance grants a modification from the Development
Code to permit a 33 foot wide right-of-way on the north half of
Northwest Highway and a 40 foot wide right-of-way on the south
half of Central Road. The Plan CommiSsion recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit F)
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 2-CU-94, 1814 Bonita Avenue
The Petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to allow a
detached garage designed to house more than 2 motor
vehicles, allowing a 528 square foot addition to the existing
garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 7-0.

At the request of the Petitioner, the request for a billiard'
parlor has been withdrawn.
C. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT
AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
1700 WEST LINCOLN STREET
- * In conjunction with the Hatlen Heights flood control project, this
Resolution authorizes an easement necessary to complete the
project. (Exhibit G)

(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance establishes traffic regulations within the
Millers Station (Kimball Hill) development. (Exhibit H)
E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV
ENTITLED "WATER AND WATER SUPPLY" AND ARTICLE V
ENTITLED "METERS AND RATES" OF CHAPTER 22 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the Village water and sewer rates, (Exhibit J)

B. Request to amend contract with Albrecht Enterprises relative to

C. Request to amend contract with Albrecht Enterprises relative to
demolition of the Pine/VVille site.
D. Authorize retaining the services of a consulting engineering
for the Pine/VVille infrastructure improvements.
E. Waive bidding procedure and accept proposal for the 1994/95
Street Reconstruction Soil Survey Program
F, Authorize payment to Arlington Heights for street reconstruction
to that portion of Willow Lane located within the corporate limits
of the Village of Mount Prospect.
G. Ratify authorization to install a pull down stairway and attic door
in the Police and Fire Headquarters Building.
H. Request to waive the bidding procedure and authorize entedng
into a contract with Insituform.
I. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994195 (Exhibit K)
J. Approval to waive bid process and to approve entering into
contract for professional services with Communications Support
Corporation for technical review of the cable system in conjunction
with the franchise renewal process.
