1, 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance rezones the subject property from C-3
(Conservation Recreation) District to R-4 (Multi-Family)
District. (Exhibit A)
2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL
USE IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF RAND ROAD AND
EUCLID AVENUE
· This Ordinance grants a Special Use in the nature of a
Planned Unit Development in order to allow four 5-story
buildings with a total of 200 residential condominium units. (Exhibit B)
3. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AMENDED CONSENT
DECREE IN CHICAGO TITLE AND TRUST, ETC ET AL V.
MOUNT PROSPECT, 65 CH 5300
This Ordinance authorizes the Mayor to sign an amendment
to the Consent Decree governing Old Orchard Colony
Country to permit condominiums. (Exhibit C)
B. Parking on the 200 block of North Louis Street
This item should be set over to a date certain of May 17 for a
status report.

2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOVVN
AS MOUNT PROSPECT CLOCKTOVVER PLACE
This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use in the nature
of a Planned Unit Development to construct a mixed use
development containing approximately 7,500 square feet of
retail space in two structures and 139 residential units
in three buildings with accessory parking. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this Planned Unit
Development by a vote of 5-1. (Exhibit D)
2. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends the Comprehensive Plan of the
Village to reflect multi-family residential with medium density.
The Plan Commission recommended granting this request by
a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit E)
3. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A MODIFICATION
FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS MOUNT PROSPECT
CLOCKTOWER PLACE
This Ordinance grants a modification from the Development
Code to permit a 33 foot wide right-of-way on the north half of
Northwest Highway and a 40 foot wide right-of-way on the south
half of Central Road. The Plan Commission recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit F)
4. Clocktower Plat of Subdivision
This Plat establishes 3 lots in order to construct the
condominiums and commercial property. The Plan
Commission recommended approving this subdivision.
D. PUBLIC HEARING
The Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice
having been published in the Mount Prospect Herald on
April 6, 1994, is for the purpose of considering the adoption
of the 1994/95 budget for the Village of Mount Prospect.
E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994/95 (Exhibit G)
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. ZBA 2-CU-94, 1814 Bonita Avenue
The Petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to allow a
detached garage designed to house more than 2 motor
vehicles, allowing a 528 square foot addition to the existing
garage. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 7-0.
B. ZBA 9-A-94, Amend Chapter 14 (Zoning Ordinance)
The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to Article XIV (R-5,
Senior Citizen Residence District) of the Zoning Ordinance to
allow a convalescent home-nursing home as a Conditional Use.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this
request by a vote of 6-1.
C.ZBA 10-Z-94 and ZBA 11-CU-94, 350 North Wolf Road
A.The Petitioner is requesting the property be rezoned
from O-R (Office Research) to R-5 (Senior Citizens
Residence). The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 7-0,.
B. The Petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to allow a
convalescent-nursing home. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting the request by a vote of 7-0.
D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance reestablishes traffic regulations on the west
side of Maple Street, between Central and Northwest Highway
in conjunction with the operation of the Police and Fire
Headquarters Building. (Exhibit H)
E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV
ENTITLED "WATER AND WATER SUPPLY" AND ARTICLE V
ENTITLED "METERS AND RATES" OF CHAPTER 22 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance increases the Village water and sewer rates. (Exhibit J)
F. A RESOLUTION DISSOLVING THE MOUNT PROSPECT
CULTURAL TRUST COOPERATIVE (Exhibit K)
G. A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING MOTOR FUND TAX FUNDS
This Resolution appropriates $1,350,000 from the Motor Fuel
Tax Funds for the 1994 resurfacing program. (Exhibit L)
H. Request to renew contract with ComPsych to provide the
Employee Assistance Program.
