ZBA 40-Z-94, 105, 109 and 11'] South Busse Road 1. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE REZONING OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY FROM R-X TO R-1 DISTRICT This Ordinance rezones the subject property from R-X to R-1 for single family home subdivision. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 7-0. (Exhibit A) NOTE: ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO WOULD UKE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING BUT BECAUSE OF A DISABILITY NEED SOME ACCOMMODATION TO PARTICIPATE SHOULD CONTACT THE VILLAGE MANAGER'S OFFICE AT 100 SOUTH EMERSON STREET, MOUNT PROSPECT, 708/392-6000, EXTENSION 5327, TDD 7081392-6064. 2. Preliminary Plat of Subdivision This Subdivision creates 15 single family lots. The Plan Commission recommended approving this subdivision. B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF 1994 FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit B) C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XI OF CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance amends the Village Code by removing regulations governing the fares that taxicabs can charge while operating in the Village. (Exhibit C'1) (Exhibit C-2) D. A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 19-93 APPOINTING A DIRECTOR AND ALTERNATE DIRECTOR TO THE SOLID WASTE AGENCY OF NORTHERN COOK COUNTY (SWANCC) BY APPOINTING ALTERNATE DIRECTORS-OBSERVERS (Exhibit D) IX, NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 23-A-94, Text Amendment The Village of Mount Prospect is requesting a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 14) to provide for the gradual elimination of specific second housekeeping units in all single family residential districts. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 4-3. B. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER This Resolution authorizes the Village to enter into a lease with Randhurst ShOpping Center for approximately 600 square foot in size to be used as "Village Hall on the Mall" for special municipal functions.
