ZBA 23-A-94, Text Amendment 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 (ZONING) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends Chapter 14 (Zoning) to provide for the gradual el!mination of specific second housekeeping units in single family residential districts. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 4-3. (Exhibit A) B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF 1994 FOR THE VILLAGE (Exhibit B) NOTE: ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO WOULD UKE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING BUT BECAUSE OF A DISABIUTY NEED SOME ACCOMMODATION TO PARTICIPATE SHOULD CONTACT THE VILLAGE MANAGER'S OFFICE AT 100 SOUTH EMERSON STREET, MOUNT PROSPECT, 7081392-6000, EXTENSION 5327, TDD 7081392-6064. C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE Xl OF CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This Ordinance amends the Village Code by removing regulations governing the fares that taxicabs can charge while operating in the Village. (Exhibit C-1) (Exhibit C-2) IX. NEW BUSINESS A. A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE REFERENDUM QUESTION FOR THE MOUNT PROSPECT PUBLIC LIBRARY ON THE NOVEMBER 8, 1994 BALLOT (Exhibit D) B. A RESOLUTION TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ESTIMATED TO BE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING MAY 1, 1994 AND ENDING APRIL 30,1995 (Exhibit E) C. ZBA 45-CU-94, 1738 East Kensington Road The Petitioner is requesting a conditional use to allow a day care center to operate within the Brentwood Shopping Center. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 6-0. D.
