1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14
(ZONING) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance amends Chapter 14 (Zoning) to provide for the
gradual el!mination of specific second housekeeping units in single
family residential districts. The Zoning Board of Appeals
recommended granting this request by a vote of 4-3. (Exhibit A)
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF 1994 FOR THE VILLAGE (Exhibit B)

C. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE Xl OF
CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance amends the Village Code by removing regulations
governing the fares that taxicabs can charge while operating in
the Village. (Exhibit C-1)

The Petitioner is requesting a conditional use to allow a day care
center to operate within the Brentwood Shopping Center. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by
a vote of 6-0.
