OLD BUSINESS A. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE VILLAGE CODE PROHIBITING THE COMMERCIAL SALE OF FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION IN THE VILLAGE This Ordinance prohibits the commercial sale of firearms and Exhibit B) ~ ammunition in the Village. ZBA 14-CU-95, Stimsonite Corporation, 800 Biermann Court 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 800 BIERMANN COURT This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use to Stimsonite Corp. located at 800 Biermann Court to allow a plastic processing facility for the existing building and a proposed future 60,000 square foot addition. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit C) C. PUBLIC HEARING This Public Hearing, held pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the Mount Prospect Daily Herald on December 7, 1995 is for the purpose of considering the proposed budget for the fiscal year January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1996. D. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1996 TO DECEMBER 31, 1996 IN LIEU OF PASSAGE OF AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE 'Exhibit D) E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ABATE A RART OF THE TAXES LEVIED FOR CORPORATE AND MUNICIPAL PURPOSES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1995 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1995 (Exhibit E) F. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ABATE A PART OF THE TAXES LEVIED FOR UNLIMITED TAX BONDS OF SPECIAL SERVICE AREA NUMBER ONE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1995 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1995 Exhibit F) G. A RESOLUTION FOR MAINTENANCE OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE This Resolution is required by the Illinois Department of Transportation in order to expend use Motor Fuel Tax funds for general maintenance operations.
