B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance creates a Class "S" liquor license for Marion's II, a
restaurant that will occupy the space formerly used by Swenson's
Ice Cream Parlor and more recently Al's Diner in the Colony Shopping
Center at Oakton & Elmhurst Road (Exhibit A)
C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance deletes the Class "R" currently held by Edwardo's
at 1904 S. Elmhurst Road and creates a Class "S" license for the
new restaurant to be known as Pop's Grill and Bar. (Exhibit B)

VIII. OLD BUSINESS
A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
(TRAFFIC CODE)
This Ordinance amends the Traffic Code to provide for a STOP
sign on Wille Street, north and southbound, at Thayer Street. (Exhibit C)
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
Consideration of this Ordinance, establishing procedures for
the recall of elected officials, has been deferred in order to
obtain additional legal opinions.
IX. NEW BUSINESS
A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE
This Ordinance authorizes the sale of certain turn-out gear
(protective outer wear) no longer necessary to the Fire Department. (Exhibit D)
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10
ENTITLED "LICENSES AND PERMITS" OF THE VILLAGE
CODE
This Ordinance establishes requirements that all outstanding
items, such as payment of fines, Penalties, legal action, etc.
must be up-to-date in order to obtain a license from the Village. (Exhibit E)
C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This Ordinance amends that Section of the Village Code that
defines the construction of words to elaborate on the often
used phrases throughout the Code to include "person,
firm or corporation". (Exhibit F)

X. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
A. Bid result:
1. Remodel public bathroom facilities in the Senior Citizen
Center, ~n compliance with the requirements of ADA
B. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (LINNEMAN ROAD)
This Ordinance authorizes the Village to purchase property to
be used for public right-of-way in conjunction with the Linneman
Road improvement. Exhibit H)
C. A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AN EXTENSION OF THE
RETIREE'S MEDICAL BENEFIT PROGRAM TO CERTAIN
