OLD BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SPECIFIED SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends the text of the Zoning Code relative to the Central Business District. (Exhibit A) NOTE: ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING, BUT BECAUSE OF A DISABILITY NEEDS SOME ACCOMMODATION TO PARTICIPATE SHOULD CONTACT THE VILLAGE MANAGER'S OFFICE AT 100 SOUTH EMERSON STREET, MOUNT PROSPECT, 708/392-6000, EXTENSION 5327, TDD 708/392-6064. B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE This Ordinance amends the Official Zoning Map to include the B-5 and B-5C (Central Business/Core District) zoning classifications. (Exhibit B) C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance amends the Comprehensive Plan and Generalized Land Use Map to include the Central Business District. (Exhibit C) D. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance provides for a YIELD sign on Cardinal Lane at Eric and prohibits parking on the south side of Midway Drive. (Exhibit D) E. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING MODIFICATIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR PROPERTY WITHIN THE WHISPERING CREEK SUBDIVISION This Ordinance grants a modification to allow a 4:1 stormwater detention facility side slope and to allow a structure within 25 feet of a stormwater facility. (Exhibit E) F. Whispering Creek - Final Plat of Subdivision (Semar Subdivision) IX, NEW BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 16 ENTITLED "DEVELOPMENT CODE" OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT IN ITS ENTIRETY This Ordinance amends Chapter 16 (Development Code) of the Village Code in its entirety. (Exhibit F) B. A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING MUNICIPAL OVERSIGHT OF OF TELECOMMUNICATION PROVIDERS The Northwest Municipal Conference urges approval of this Resolution as a first step in efforts to retain control over the use of public rights-of-way.
