Chairperson Skowron called the meeting to order at 2:48 p.m.
Roll Call: Michaele Skowron, Chairperson
Jackie Hinaber, Commissioner
James Powers, Commissioner
Mark Busse, Commissioner(arrived 8:00 p.m.)
Also Present: Michael Eterno, Deputy Chief of Police
David Zboril, Commander
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
No one in attendance.
The purpose of this meeting was to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews. Chairperson Skowron asked for
a motion to go into Closed Session.
CLOSED SESSION
A motion was made by Commissioner Hinaber and seconded by Commissioner Powers to go into Closed
Session at 2:49 p.m. to conduct oral interviews under Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment,
employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body,
including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity.
Roll Call: Ayes: Hinaber, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to Open Session at 8:53 p.m. with everyone present from the previous session.
Commissioner Skowron asked for a motion to adopt the list of candidates for the eligibility list based on the
scores generated from the interviews.
A motion was made by Commissioner Powers and seconded by Commissioner Hinaber to adopt the 10 top
scores to be on the eligibility list pending verification of the scores. Once the scores are verified it is adopted.
Roll Call: Ayes: M. Busse, Hinaber, Powers, Skowron Nays: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Powers and seconded by Commissioner M. Busse to adjourn the
meeting at 8:54 p.m.
