AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, SIGN REGULATIONS, OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, pursuant to its home rule powers, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 7.205, "Exempt Signs ", of Article 2, Scope, of Chapter 7 of the
Mount Prospect Village Code is amended as follows:
Subsection G, "Banners" shall be amended by inserting numerically, G. 5. to be and
read as follows:
5. One banner, per street frontage, per establishment shall be permitted.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Korn, Matuszak, Polit, Rogers, Zadel
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Hoefert
