Minutes of January 4, 2014

Absent Paul Seils and Fred Steinmiller
Call to Order 9:05 a.m.
Health report on Paul Seils given by Linda Hoefert he is doing well and waiting to meeting with
doctor.
Secretary's Report Motion to approve Minutes of December 7, 2013 made by Christina
Greco, seconded by Sandy DiCaro. No discussion held. Motion approved unanimously.
Citizens to Be Heard No citizens in attendance.
Financial Report Discussion was held during each of the following reports.
House Decorating Teresa VanOpdorp redesigned the winner plaque. All winners attended the
board meeting with the only recipient missing being a representative of Randhurst. Will discuss
before next winter revamping the award categories.
New Year's Eve Eve Finances may be in good shape between ticket sales and sponsorships. A
few expenses still remain and we are currently awaiting a check from the Mount Prospect
Public Library for ticket sales. Teresa VanOpdorp explained the food debacle and other things
that need to be tweaked. Further discussion was held.
Celestial Celebration Finances were gone over for the event. Sound Q Productions should be
contacting ProMix on tips to wire the room for the most beneficial sight and sound. The menu
has not been settled upon. Ticket sales are coming in — only 8 via internet to date. The cigar
rolling woman will be there, as well as young lady that sings prior to dinner. Sixty (60) bottles
of wine will be up for "grab ". Went over problems that occurred last year so they're not
overlooked and repeated this year. SEC members to arrive at 4:30, pictures at 5:00.
