HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 04-88 02/02/1988 RESOLUTION NO. 4-88 A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONTRIBUTIONS MARVIN NEITZKE WHEREAS, r1ARVIN NEITZKE is a native of the Village of Mount Prospect, having been born at 17 South Maple Street and attended St. Paul Lutheran School and Arlington High School; and WHEREAS, MARVIN NEITZKE became a member of the Mount Prospect Volunteer Fire Department May 3, 1956, prior to the establishment of our full time department, which placed the responsibility of protecting the Village during emergency situations solely on our volunteers; and WHEREAS, during the past 32 years, MARVIN NEITZKE has served continuously during emergency situations, attending weekly training sessions and serving as a back-up to our full time Department when emergency situations dictated; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has benefited from the 32 years of dedicated service of MARVIN NEITZKE; and WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect also acknowledges the many sacrifices made by MARVIN NEITZKE and his family over the years due to the many interruptions to family gatherings, holidays and daily schedules. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby acknowledge the many contributions made by MARVIN NEITZKE as a member of the Mount Prospect Volunteer Fire Department for the past 32 years. SECTION TWO: That upon the occasion of his retirement from the Mount Prospect Volunteer Fire Department the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do express appreciation and good wishes to MARVIN NEITZKE and his family. SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
