RESOLUTION NO. 28-88
AN RESOLUTION ACCEPTING JURISDICTION OF
SCHOENBECK ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Cook County Highway Department is desirous of
improving Schoenbeck Road between Rand Road and Camp MacDonald
Road in the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said project is being constructed in order to
facilitate the free flow of traffic and ensure safety to the
motoring public; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the improvement of that portion of
Schoenbeck Road specified hereinbelow, the Village of Mount
Prospect does accept jurisdiction of said right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That in conjunction with the improvement of
Schoenbeck Road, more fully described in the Joint Agreement
Between the Village of Mount Prospect and the Cook County
Department of Highways the corporate authorities of the Village
of Mount Prospect do hereby accept jurisdiction of that portion
of Schoenbeck Road from the curb return on the south side of the
Camp MacDonald Road and Schoenbeck Road intersection to the curb
return on the north side of Rand Road and Schoenbeck Avenue
intersection, as indicated on the map attached hereto and hereby
made a part hereof.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner
provided by law.
