!bY P.A. 80-159, effective January 1, 1978, provides for the

' ~ of the state Soil and Water'Conservation Districts

IAdvisory Board, and the formation of Water and Soil Conserva-
¡Ition D'istricts for various enumerated purposes¡ and

:Act, as amended, enables the governing body of ,any city or

¡village by resolution to remòve all or a part of its land
¡from a Soil and Water Cõnservation Distriét¡, and
I ' WHEREAS, the Village of Mount ~rospect has from

¡time to, time in certain respects been treated as a part of
Lnd connected to the North Cook County Soil and Water co~-
Iservation District¡ and .

II , WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of
~ount Prospect has determined that it is in the best interests
6f'the Village and the welfare of its residents to formally
6isconnect from the 'North Cook County Soil and Water Conser-

~ation District.
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY, THE PRESIDENT AND
kOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PRQSPECT, COOK COUNTY,

AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FROM
THE NORTH COOK COUNTY SOI~ AND
WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Soil and Water Conservation District
WHEREAS, said Soil and Water Conservation District
LLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
The Village does hereby resolve to
isconnect its entire land area lying within its existing
oundaries from the North Cook County Soil and Water Conserva-
ion District.
