A PROCLAMATION OF APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICE EXTENDED BY
DAVID C. LINDGREN
WHEREAS, David C. Lindgren has devoted his time, experience and knowledge as a dedicated member of the
Mount Prospect Economic Development Commission, serving as a member with distinction from 1996 to 2013;
and
WHEREAS, in 2000, David C. Lindgren was appointed as Chairperson, further enhancing the Economic
Development Commission by the knowledge and concentrated efforts expended by him; and
WHEREAS, throughout the years David C. Lindgren has served this community, he has always sought to
promote and sustain economic growth within the Village of Mount Prospect ;and
WHEREAS, David C. Lindgren implemented the Business Visitation Program in 2005, conducting over 300
visits to date; and
WHEREAS, David C. Lindgren initiated the Annual
business community and coordinated the Entrepreneurial Café efforts with the Mount Prospect Chamber of
Commerce and Downtown Merchants Association; and
WHEREAS, David C. Lindgren
including United Airlines World Headquarters and Republic Service (ARC Disposal) properties; and
WHEREAS, David C. Lindgren will be sorely missed by his colleagues, peers and a grateful community and he
will be fondly remembered for his devotion and the indelible imprint he has left on the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, on behalf of all the residents of the Village, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect express their sincere gratitude to David C. Lindgren for his dedicated and distinguished service
to the community.
WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois do
hereby extend to David C. Lindgren and his wife Linda best wishes for good health and happiness as they
embark upon this new chapter in their lives.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Arlene A. Juracek, President of the Village of Mount Prospect, do hereby proclaim
