AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE
;E IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
~ILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
gECTION ONE: That subsection A of Section 13.107 of Chapter 13 of the
{unicipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be and the same is hereby
Mended by increasing the number of Class "C" licenses by One (1) and the
~umber of Class "W" licenses by One (1) and by decreasing the number of
21ass "R" licenses by One (I); so that said Section 13.107 A shall hereafter
)e and read as follows:
"Section 13.107. Number of Licenses
A. There shall be issued in the Village
of Mount Prospect no more than:
(1) Six (6) Class A Licenses
(2) Seventeen (17) Class B Licenses
(3) Nine (9) Class C Licenses
(4) Two (2) Class D Licenses
(5) One (1) Class E Licenses
(6) Two (2) Class L Licenses
(7) One (1) Class M Licenses
(8) One (1) Class P Licenses
(9) Eight (8) Class R Licenses
(10) One (1) Class V Licenses
(11) Four (4) Class W Licenses"
SECTION TWO:
Section 13.114 of Chapter 13 of the Municipal Code of the
~Zillage of Mount Prospect be, and the same is hereby amended by adding to
said Section a new subsection C, so that said section 13.114 C shall hereafter
be and read as follows:
"Section 13.114.
Notwithstanding any provision of this Chapter 13 to the contrary,
it shall be unlawful for a Class "C" licensee who sells alcoholic
liquor as a prt of, but not as, its principal business and whose
business premises exceed 5,000 square feet, to consummate the
sale of alcoholic liquor except at a counter with a cash register
designated to be used soley for the sale of alcoholic liquor mhd
which cash register is operated by a person of at least
nineteen (19) years of age. ~
~ECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
