ORDINANCE NO. 2975
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE 1
OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT TRAFFIC CODE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that it would be in the best
interest of the residents of the Village ~o reduce the speed limi
to 25 miles per hour on Nordic Road between Algonquin Road and
Carboy Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the PreSident and Board of
!Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, .Cook County, Illinois
as follows:
SECTION ONE: Schedule I of Article 20 6f Chapter 18 (Traffic Cod~
of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be, and the
same is hereby amended by adding to the present Schedule I under
the column headed "Name of Street" of said Schedule, the street
called "Nordic Road" in its proper alphabetical sequence and undeI
the ~olumn headed "Direction of Traffic Movement" of said Schedule
the words "North & South', opposite Nordic Road, as it appears in
said Schedule, and under the column headed "Speed Limit" of said
Schedule, the language "25" opposite to Nordic Road as it appears
in said Schedule, and under the column headed "Description" of
said Schedule, the language "Btw. Algonquin Road and Carboy Road"
opposite to Nordic Road as it appears in said Schedule, so that
~aid addition shall hereafter be and read as follows:
