AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24
ARTICLE XIII OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAineD BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
iVILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: section 24.1310E of Article XIII of Chapter 24 of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be, and the
same is hereby, amended by deleting'the present language of
Section 24.1310E and substituting therefor the following
language, so that said Section 24.13t0E shall hereafter be and
read as follows:
Any tenant under a lease entered into subsequent to
March 6 -, 1980 may, at its option, cancel and termJnst~
~uch lease by serving written notice on the developer by
personal delivery'or by registered or certified mail, re~
receipt requested, within 60 days after the date tenant
receives the notice of intent to convert. The notice of
cancellation and termination of a lease shall specify
the date when such lease shall be considered terminated
and cancelled by tenant, which date shall be no earlier
than the date tenant vacates the premises.
SECTION Two: This Ordinance shati be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and pUblication in the man-
ner provided by law.
