CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ADOPTING THE INTERNATIONAL
BUILDING CODE -2012 EDITION, INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE 2012
EDITION, 2004 ILLINOIS STATE PLUMBING CODE, INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL
CODE FOR ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS 2012 EDITION, NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE -2011 EDITION, AND INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE
2012 EDITION, WITH CERTAIN AMENDMENTS AND OTHER MODIFICATIONS,
INCLUDING AMENDMENT OF APPENDIX A OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance updates the Village of Mount Prospect building code by adopting the
most current versions of the Illinois Code Council (ICC) codes, Illinois plumbing code
and National electric code.

This ordinance updates the Village of Mount Prospect property maintenance code
by adopting the most current version of the ICC code.

This ordinance updates the Village of Mount Prospect fire code by adopting the most
current version of the ICC code.

B. 1 reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11 AND APPENDIX A OF (Exhibit D)
THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS,
REGARDING CONTRACTORS LICENSE
changes the term of the license from a calendar year cycle to being valid for one
one (1) year from the time purchased.

ORDINANCE PRORATING THE COST OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ADOPTED MAY 6, 2003, TO CONFIRM,
READOPT AND EXTEND THE TERM OF ORDINANCE NO. 5332 AN ADDITIONAL
TEN YEARS FROM THE ADOPTION DATE OF THIS AMENDING ORDINANCE
This ordinance extends for a period of ten (10) years the ability of the developer to
recapture certain costs from adjacent homeowners who may want to tap on to the
water main that the Village of Mount Prospect required to be looped as part of the
original development.

D. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN (Exhibit F)
