May 23, 2012
Open Meetings Act Training
1st Floor Community Center
Village Hall
I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:12 PM. The purpose of the meeting was for the
Finance Commission members to receive training related to the State of Illinois's Open
Meeting Act. It is on -line training with an assessment. Those present included Chairman
Vince Grochocinski and Commissioners Pam Bazan, Wayne Gardner, Tom Pekras, Ann
Smilanic and Don Ocwieja. Commissioner John Kellerhals was absent. Also, in
attendance were Village Clerk Lisa Angell and Deputy Finance Commissioner Lynn
Jarog.
II. Open Meetings Act Training
Training commenced after a brief instruction from Lisa Angell and Lynn Jarog
III. Next Finance Commission Meeting
The next Finance Commission meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2012 at
6:OOp.m at Village Hall, 1 st Floor Community Center
IV. Adjournment
Commissioner Ann Smilanic moved to adjourn the meeting. Tom Pekras seconded the
motion. The meeting was adjourned. The on -line training commenced at each member's
own pace.
