Minutes of the Meeting
October 27, 2011
1" Floor Community Center
Village Hall
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Those present included Chairman Vince
Grochocinski and Commissioners Pam Bazan, Wayne Gardner, John Kellerhals, Tom
Pekras, Ann Smilanic and Don Ocwieja. Also present were Assistant Village Manager
David Strahl, Finance Director David Erb, and Deputy Director Lynn Jarog. From the
Police Department were Police Chief John Dahlberg, Deputy Police Chief Tim Janowick,
Police Commanders John Wagner and Mike Eterno. From the Public Works Department
were Public Works Director Sean Dorsey and Deputy Director Jason Lieb.
II. Approval of Minutes
a. July 28, 2011
Commissioner Pam Bazan moved to approve the minutes and
Commissioner John Kellerhals seconded the motion. The minutes were approved.
b. September 13, 2011
Commissioner John Kellerhals moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner
Tom Pekras seconded the motion. The minutes were approved as modified.
III. Citizens to be Heard
There were no citizens to be heard.
IV. Old Business
There was no old business.
V. New Business
Police Chief John Dahlberg reviewed the Police Department's 2011 accomplishments
and gave an overview of the 2012 Budget and Department objectives.
Public Works Director Sean Dorsey reviewed the Public Works' 2011 accomplishments
and gave an overview of the 2012 Budget and Department objectives.

No other business.

There was nothing to report.
VIII. Finance Director's Report
There was nothing to report.
IX. Next Meeting: November 3, 2011
The next meeting will be Thursday, November 3, 2011, 7:00 p.m. at the Emergency
Operations Center.
X. Adjournment
Commissioner Tom Pekras motioned to adjourn. Commissioner Ann Smilanic seconded
the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
