AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13
ENTITLED "ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: Subparagraph (C)(5)(e) of Section 13.204.1 entitled "Descriptions and
Restrictions" of Chapter 13 entitled "Alcoholic Liquor" of the Mount Prospect Village Code shall
be amended by deleting subparagraph (e) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the
following new subparagraph (e) to be and read as follows:
e. Beer may be sold only in individual containers holding twenty (20)
ounces or less. All other alcoholic beverages may be sold only in
individual containers holding twelve (12) ounces or less. This limitation
shall be absolute and shall apply irrespective of the actual alcoholic
content of the beverage.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
