ORDINANCE NO. 3000
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 35,
TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE
THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS (RAUENHORST PROPERTY-SECOND PHA~SE)
~HEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the owners
~f record of the land hereinafter described, there being no
lectors residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk
f the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be
~nnexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
~HEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any
nunicipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect;
~nd
~EREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
~unt Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the said Village that the said land and territory be
~nnexed to the Village;
TOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
FRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT fPROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,

~ECTI'ON 'ONE: That all land and territory legally described as
[ollows, to wit:
That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 35, Township
42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner
of the East half of the West half of the Northwest quarter
of said Section 35; thence South along the West line of
said East half of the West half of the Northwest quarter,
a distance of 1,766.22 feet; thence East perpendicular to
the last described line, a distance of 1,024.99 feet;
thence North, parallel with the West line of said East
half of the West half of the Northwest quarter, a distance
of 1,712.37 feet to the intersection of said line with a
line drawn 50 feet South of and parallel with the North
line of said Northwest quarter; thence West along said
parallel line, a distance of 472 feet, more or less, to the
extension South of the East line of Lot 350 in Brickman
Manor, First Addition, Unit #3, a subdivision in part of
the Southwest quarter of Section 26, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the plat thereof recorded May 11, 1960, as document
917852224; thence North along the extension South of said
East line of Lot 350, a distance of 50 feet to the North
line of said Northwest quarter; thence West along the
North line of said Northwest quarter, a distance of 553
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, all in Cook
County, Illinois.

~nnexed to the Village of MOunt ProSpect, Cook County, Illinois.
~ECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect
is hereby directed to record in the offices of the Recorder of
heeds of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the offices of
khe County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordi-
Lance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed.
:ECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
