ORDINANCE NO. 3015
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
MUNICIPAL CODE
~E IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
~ILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Section 17.107 of Article 1 of Chapter 17 of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be, and the same
is hereby, amended by deleting the present language of Sec~ion
17.107 and substituting therefor the following language, so that
aid Section 17.107 shall hereafter be and read as follows:
Section 17.107. Time of Payment; License Year. Licenses
issued for calendar year 1980 shall expire on December 31,
1980. Licenses issued for calendar year 1981 shall expire
on April 30, 1982. Fees for licenses issued for calendar
years 1980 and 1981 shall be due and payable in advance of
the first day of January of each of said years. Beginning
in 1982 and continuing each and every year thereafter, fees
for licenses shall be due and payable in advance of the
first day of May and licenses issued shall expire on the
April 30 following the date of issuance. If, after the
date license fees become due and payable hereunder, a per-
son acquires a vehicle or becomes a resident of the Vil-
lage, the license fees provided for in Section 17.103 shall
be due and payable within thirty (.30) days after such
acquisition or residency. Where the said fee becomes due
and payable six ~6) months or more after the start of the
license year, then upon timely application being made to
the Village Clerk, a license shall be issued for the remain-
der of the year upon payment of one-half (1/2) of the fee
provided for in Section 17.103.
ECTION TWO: Section 17.108C of Article 1 of Chapter 17 of the
i~nic~pal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be, and the same
.s hereby amended, by deleting the present language of Section
.7.108C and substituting therefor the following language, so that
laid Section 17.108C shall hereafter be and read as follows:
Section 17~108C. The due date for display of current Vil-
lage windshield stickers for calendar years 1980 and 1981
shall be February 16 of each such year. Beginning in 1982
and continuing each and every year thereafter, the due date
for display of current Village windshield stickers shall be
June 16 of each year.

~ECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
~rom and after its passage, approval and publication in the man-
~er provided by law.
