AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
MOUNT PROSPECT TRAFFIC CODE
6-19-80
HEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
ounu Prospect have determined that it is in the best interesn
f the residents of the Village of Mount Prospect to prohibit
arking on both sides of Westgate Road for 200 feet north of
entral and to reduce the speed limit to 25 mit~s per hour on
usse Avenue from Main Street to Mount Prospect Road.
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
RUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
s follows:
ECTION ONE: Schedule VI of Article 20 of Chapter 18 {Traffic
lode) of the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect be
.nd the same is hereby, amended by adding to said Schedule under
~he column headed "Name of Street" of said Schedule, the street
:alled "Westgate Road" in its proper alphabetical sequence and
~nder the column headed "Side of Street" of said Schedule the
~ords "East and West" opposite Westgate Road as it appears in
~aid Schedule, and under the column headed "Description" of said
chedule the language "The first 200 feet north of Central Road"
pposite Westgate Road as it appears in said Schedule, so ~hat
aid amendment to Schedule VI shall hereafter be and read as

SECTION TWO: Schedule I of Article 20 of Chapter 18 (Traffic
Code) of the Municipal Code of the-Village of Mount Prospect be
and the same is hereby, amended b,y, adding ~o said Schedule under
the column headed "Name of Street of said Schedule, the s~r_et
called "Busse Avenue" in its proper alphabetical sequence and
under the column headed "Direction of Traffic Movement" of said
Schedule, the words "East and Westbound" opposite to Busse
Avenue as it appears in said Schedule and under the column headed
"Speed Limit (MPH)" the number "25" opposite to Busse Avenue as
it appears in said Schedule, and under the column headed
"Description," the language "Btw. Main Street and Mount Prospect
Road," opposite ~o~.Busse Avenue as m% appears in said Schedule,
so ~hat said amendment to Schedule I shall hereafter be and
read as follows:
