REAS, Section 6(a) of Article VII of the Constitution of the
te of Illinois (1970) provides that any municipality which has
opulation of more than 25,000 is a Home Rule Unit. The Village
Mount Prospect, with a population in excess of 25,000 may, there-
e, exercise any power and perform any function pertaining to its

, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustee

iTION ONE: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village
MOunt Prospect shall authorize the sale of any real property
ed by the Village of Mount Prospect by adopting an ordinance
riding therefor. Such ordinance shall contain at least~ the
lowing: ~.
~he names of the Purchasers of the proPerty;
B, the legal desCriPtion of ~e proPerty;
C, the purchase price of the property;
D. a finding by the PreSident and Board of TruStees of
th8 Village thab the purchase price to be paid for
%he property is fair, reasonable and just;
E. the real estate contract for the purchase of the property
ITION T~O: The Ordinance authorizing the sale of real property
~ed by the Village of Mount Prospect eh.all be adopted by a majori~
~e of the. corporate autko'rities.
ITION THREE: This Ordinance No. 3047 Shall be in full forCe and
