Meeting Minutes
May 3, 2003
ATTENDEES: Corky Dunn, Steve Durlacher, Janice Farley, Leo Floros, Lil Floros, Jill
Friedrichs, Martha Helm, Linda Hoefert, Paul Seils, Jim Uszler
Lil Floros called the meeting to order at 9:05 am. The minutes of the April meeting were
approved as written. The statement of receipts and disbursements of the 2003 Celestial
Celebration and the financial report as of April 30 were approved.
Celestial Celebration Lil Floros announced that the contract with Bristol Court has
been signed for the February 7, 2004, event.
Welcome to Mt. Prospect In the absence of Dale Draznin, Leo Floros reported that
the event had been successful. A suggestion was made to include PW Paws at the Fall
event.
Do- It- Yourself Sousa — 6/15: Steve Durlacher encouraged the Commission members to
register to be a participant in the event to be conducted by Dr. Mike Golemo from Iowa
State University. The music has been selected and Martha Helm and Janice Farley will
assist in putting it together for the players. Last year's "Lady ate" will not be
available, but there will possibly be a replacement. Dick Hughes from ERA Brokers has
agreed to again donate the American flags to be distributed to the audience.
41h of July Parade: Jill Friedrichs distributed a listing of the 34 units committed as of
this date to participate in the parade.
Jim Uszler announced that the Downtown Block Party will be held on Saturday, July 26.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 am.
