PLASTICS AND TIN
The Recychng Commtsslon would like to expand the program as soon as possible
to include plastics (milk jugs and pop bottles) and tin The additional cost would
be $126 per single-family unit per month With the "prompt pay" discount, the
new combined recycling rate would be $2 25 per umt per month The Recycling
Cornrmssion recommends that the Mayor and Board authorize a Contract
Amendment with BFI Chairman Ken Westlake and other Corcamssion members
will be present to discuss the proposal
