BUSSE ROAD Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees the 18 day of September, 2012 Published in pamphlet form by authority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, the 19 day of September, 2012. ORDINANCE NO. 6028 VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 14.1 ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE GENERAL VICINITY OF BUSSE ROAD AND KENNETH DRIVE COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1921, 2069, 2101, 2105 and 3125 S. BUSSE ROAD BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, as follows: SECTION 1: The President and Board of Trustees find as follows: (a) A petition has been filed with the Village Clerk and presented to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, requesting that the territory described in Section 2 of this Ordinance be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois (The Petition). (b) The aforesaid Petition was filed pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/7 -1 -8 (The Illinois Municipal Code) and is in proper form and in accordance with the statutory requirements of 65 ILCS 5/7 -1 -8 (The Illinois Municipal Code); (c) The territory included within the Petition is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, a municipality existing under the laws of the State of Illinois; SECTION 2: The territory which is the subject of this Ordinance is legally described on attached Exhibit A . This territory is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, all in conformance with and as shown on a plat and map of annexation of the territory prepared by a registered land surveyor of the State of Illinois, attached and made a part of this Ordinance as Exhibit A. 291500_1 SECTION 3: The following shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, and the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois: (a) A copy of this Ordinance certified as correct by the Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect; and (b) A plat of the land included in this annexation. SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
