ORDINANCE NO. 3195
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 ENTITLED "BUILDING CODE"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: Chapter 21 entitled "Building Code" of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois (1981) as amended,
is hereby further amended by adding to Article I. Section
21.103.B.2.g., the following:
(8) Add new section 1702.21 Use Group B: In all buildings
or structures of Use Group B:
(a) When more than five stories in height ..
(b) When more than 5,000 square feet (465 m2) in area
and more than one story in height
(c) When more than 10,000 square feet (930 m2) in area
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
