AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I ENTITLED
"GENERAL PROVISIONS" OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 13.106, Paragraph A.i., "Licenses
and Permits" of Chapter 13 is hereby amended by adding thereto
and new license classification "G", in alphabetical order; so
said paragraph A.1. of Section 13.306 shall be amended to
include the following wording:
CLASS "G" license, for issuance to park districts
when operated as a function of that District and
not a concession to a third party, which shall
authorize the licensee to sell and offer for sale
at retail in the premises specified in such license
application for beer and wine only for consumption
on said premises. Said license to be effective
during %he hours of 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.,
April 1st until November 1st of each license year."
SECTION TWO: That paragraph 2.1. of Section 13.106 of
Chapter 13 be amended to provide for a fee of $300.00
for the license classification "G" for licenses issued
after April 30, 1981; so said paragraph A.2. of Section 13.106
shall hereinafter be and read as follows:
" For Licenses Issued After April 30, 1981:
License Classification Annual License Fee
Class A $2,000.00
Class B 1,500.00
Class C 1,500.00
Class D 300.00
Class E 1,500.00
Class G 300.00
Class L 2,500.00
Class M 2,500.00
Class P 1,250.00
Class R 1,500.00
Class V 1,000.00
Class W !,000.00 "
SECTION THREE: That Section 13.i15 of Chapter 13 be amended
to include an entirely new paragraph D under"Closing Hours;
Sunday Closing"; so that said Section 13.115, paragraph D
shall hereinafter be and read as follows:
" D.
It shall be unlawful for any licensee holding a
Class "G" liquor license created under the terms
of this Chapter to sell of offer for sale any
alcoholic liquor at retail in the Village or to
permit any person to consume any alcoholic liquor
in or on any premises for which a license
providing for consumption on the premises has
been issued pursuant to this Chapter 13 other
than between 1t:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M., April 1
through November 1. "
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
