ORDINANCE NO. 3245 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT LAND LYING IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN IN OOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS (OPUS DESIGNERS, BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS, INC.) ~HERDAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the owners Df record of the land hereinafter described, there being no ~lectors residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk Df the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be ~nnexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and ~HEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limites of any nunicipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; ~nd ~HEREAs, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of ~ount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the Dest interest of the said Village that the said land and territory be annexed to the Village. IOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF ~RUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: ~ECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as ~ollows, to wit: That par-t of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the most southerly corner of Outtot 9 in Kensington Center Phase Two, being a Subdivision in part of said Northwest Quarter, according to the plat thereof, recorded June 2, 1980, as Document No.25472808; thence North 0 degrees 03 minutes 14 seconds East along the East line of said Subdivision, and along the EaSt line of Kensington Center Resubdivision IV, a Resubdivision of part Df said Kensington Center Phase Two Subdivision, recorded December '31, 19~0, as DOcument No. 25722781, a distance of 1441.99 feet to the IntersectiDn qf said line with a line drawn 50.0 feet South of, and parallel with, the North line of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 89 d~grees 43 minutes 52 seconds East along said parallel line, a distance of 860.05 feet to the intersection of said line with a line drawn-91.95 feet West of, and parallel with, the East line of said Northwest Quarter; thence South along said parallel line, a distance of 1400.32 feet to the centerline of the Feehanville drainage ditch; thence South 63 degrees 47 minutes 00 seconds West along the centerline of said ditch, a distance of 791.87 feet; thence North 25 degrees 48 minutes 29 seconds West, a distance of 346.79 feet to the place of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois ~n accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made ipart hereof by this reference, be, and the same is hereby nnexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. ECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect Ls hereby directed to record in the Office of the Recorder of )eeds of Cook County, Illinois, and to file in the Office of of 2 the county Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect frOm and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet in the manner provided by law.
