CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL II. ACCEPTANCE OF REVISED MINUTES OF MARCH 24, 1995 AND MARCH 28, 1995 AND APRIL 11, 1995 III. CITIZENS TO BE HEARD IV. DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO VARIOUS VILLAGE CODE SECTIONS ADDRESSING PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, LANDLORD/TENANT, AND USE OF PUBLIC WAY ISSUES There were a number of recommended Code changes suggested by the Visions Housing Committee and staff that were not addressed by the adoption of the Property Maintenance Code. These suggestions are listed below: 1. Regulation of shopping carts. 2. Restrictions on the repair of vehicles on public streets. 3. Regulation of mobile food vendors. 4. Creation of fees to encourage compliance with multi-family rental inspections. 5. Inclusion of occupancy requirements as a rider in the lease. Village staff has drafted several Ordinances to address the concerns listed above. In addition, staff has reviewed the Residential Landlord and Tenant Regulations. The regulations have been updated to reflect current policy and use. The proposed regulations and amendments were reviewed and approved by members of the Visions Housing Subcommittee. This group includes homeowners, landlords, property managers and Village staff. It is anticipated that changes will help supplement our enforcement efforts. Appropriate staff will be in attendance to facilitate discussion and respond to questions. V. DISASTER PREPAREDNESS One of the longer standing Deferred List items is a discussion of the Village's Disaster Preparedness Plan. On Tuesday evening, Fire Chief Edward Cavello and appropriate staff will provide an overview of our response plan and answer any questions you may have. If there is a desire to focus on specific response scenarios, a follow-up discussion(s) will be scheduled.
