MAYOR'S REPORT A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 (ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance grants a Class "C' liquor license (retail package sales only) to Fiesta Market, 1902 South Elmhurst Road. (Exhibit A) ANY INDIVIDUAL WITH A DISABILITY WHO WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING SHOULD CONTACT THE VILLAGE MANAGER'S OFFICE AT '100 SOUTH EMERSON STREET, 847/392-6000, TDD 847/392-6064. B. Rand Road, Fifth Third Bank 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIATIONS FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 201-225 WEST RAND ROAD This ordinance grants a conditional use permit for the construction of a drive-thru bank and an additional free standing sign. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 6-0 PZ 01-03, 1002 Meadow Lane, Residence 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1002 MEADOW LANE This ordinance grants a conditional use permit for the construction of a circular drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 4-2 PZ 02-03, 904 Edgewood Lane, Residence 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 904 EDGEWOOD LANE This ordinance grants a conditional use permit for the construction of a circular drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 4-2 PZ 03-03, Text Amendment, Village of Mount Prospect 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Chapter 14 of the Village Code to eliminate conflicts regarding outdoor dining restrictions. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 6-0. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND WATER AND SEWER RATES SET FORTH IN APPENDIXA, DIVISION II OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Appendix A, Division II, by increasing the water and sewer rates. Safety Commission recommendations: 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends the speed limit along Busse Road between Algonquin Road and Oakton Street from 45mph to 40mph. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit B) (Exhibit C) (Exhibit D) (Exhibit E) (Exhibit F) (Exhibit G) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance approves No Parking Monday-Friday restrictions on the east side of Cathy Lane, for the first 500' north of Central Road. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit H) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance removes the No Parking lOpm-6am signs along Windsor Drive from Highland Avenue to Garwood Drive, Garwood Drive from Windsor Drive to Wilshire Drive, and Highland Avenue from Rand Road to Wilshire Drive. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit I) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance changes the left and right turn restriction from Dempster Street onto Redwood Drive from 4pm-6pm to all times. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit J) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance changes the speed limit along Dempster Street from 45mph to 40mph.The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit K) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance removes the stop sign at the intersection of Redwood Drive and Cottonwood Lane. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit L) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance changes the one-way street designation along Redwood Drive from Dempster to Cottonwood from 4pm-6pm to all times. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit M) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends No Parking along the east side of Redwood Drive from Dempster Street to Cottonwood Lane all times. The Safety Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 5-0.
