THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN MUNICIPAL JOINT ACTION
WATER AGENCY FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT

RDINANCE NO. 3323
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING REPRESENTATIVES TO
THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN MUNICIPAL JOINT ACTION WATER
AGENCY FOR THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is a member of the
Northwest Suburban Municipal Jcint Action Water Agency,
as authorized by Ordinance No. 3081; and
WHEREAS, Section 9 of the Joint Action Water Agency
Agreement and Articles II and III of the By-Laws to said
Agency require the members to designate and appoint both a
representative and alternate representative of the Village to
the Board of Directors of the Joint Action Water Agency; and
WHEREAS, said Joint Action Water Agency Agreement and
By-Laws also require a representative and alternate
representative be designated to represent the Village on
the Executive Committee of the Joint Action Nater Agency.
NOW, THERI~FORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect hereby appoint Carolyn H. Krause,
Village President, to represent the Village of Mount Prospect
on the Board of Directors of the Joint Action Water Agency,
which appointment shall be for a period of two years, to
expire April 30, 1985.
SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect do hereby appoint Gerald Farley,
Village Trustee, as the Alternate Member to the Board of
Directors of the Joint Action Water Agency, which appointment
shall be for a period of two years, expiring April 30, 1985.
SECTION THREE: That the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect hereby appoint Terrance L.
Burghard, Village Manager, to the Executive Committee of the
Joint Action Water Agency, which term is indefinite.
SECTION FOUR: The President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect do hereby appoint Jay Hedges,
Assistant Village Manager, to the. position of Alternate
Member of the Executive Committee of the Joint Action Water
Agency, which term is indefinite.
SECTION FIVE: That the appointments made herein authorize
those designated to act on behalf of the Village of Mount
Prospect, for the purpose of participating in discussion and
vote upon decisions of the Northwest Suburban Municipal
Joint Action Water Agency.
SECTION SIX: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
~-~h~et form in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Arthur, Farley, Flores, Muaruskis, Richardson, Wattenberg
NAYS: None
ABSENT None
