NO. 3346 AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO A DETERMINATION OF THE PREVAILING WAGE RATES OF THE VILLAGE OF ~DUNT PROSPECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS 'OLLOWS: SECTION ONE: To the extent as required by "An Act regu- ating wages of laborers, mechanics and other workmen employed n any public works by the State, County, City or any public ,ody or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract or public works," approved June 26, 1941, as ~mended, the eneral prevailing rate of wages in this locality for laborers, .echanics and other workmen engaged in the construction of ,ublic works coming under the jurisdiction of this village is .ereby ascertained to be the same as the prevailing rate of 'ages for construction work in the Cook County area as deter- .ined by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois as of ~une, 1983, a copy of which wage rates are on file with the 'illage Clerk in the main office of the Village. The definition f any terms appearing in this Ordinance which are also used n the aforesaid Act shall be the same as in said Act. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to apply said 'eneral prevailing rate of wages as herein ascertained to any tork or employment except public works construction of this il~age to the extent required by the aforesaid Act. ! The Village Clerk shall publicly post or keep available or inspection by any interested party in the main office of his Village this determination of such prevailing rate of ~ages. The Village Clerk shall mail a copy of this determination ~ any employer, and to any association of employees and to ny person or association of employees who have filed, or ile their names and addresses, requesting copies of any ~termination stating the particular rates and the particular lass of workmen whose wages will be affected by such rates. The Village Clerk shall promptly file a certified copy this determination with both the Secretary of State and the partment of Labor of the State of Illinois and shall further Luse to be published in the Mount Prospect Herald, a news- ~per published and of general circulation within this Village, copy of this determination which shall constitute notice that he determination is effective and that this is the determina- ion of the President and Board of Trustees of the village of punt Prospect. \ .
