Rand Road 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-2 TO B-3 DISTRICT AT 791 EAST RAND ROAD This ordinance rezones the subject property from R-2 PUD (Attached Single Residence Planned Unit Development) to B3 (Community Shopping) district. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 705-791 EAST RAND ROAD This resolution creates a two-lot subdivision. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. PZ 41-02, 112 N. Eastwood, Residence 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 112 NORTH EASTWOOD This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit to allow for an unenclosed porch encroaching five feet into the required front yard setback. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 6-0. PZ 43-02, Text Amendments 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Chapter 14 of the Village code by redefining stoop. The Planning and Zoning Commission, recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. *PZ 20-02, 1060 W. Northwest Highway, Villas of Sevres A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL PLAT OF RESUBDIVISION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1060 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This plat of resubdivision seeks to create one lot of record. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval by a vote of 6-0. PZ 42-02, 1150 W. Northwest Highway 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1150 WEST NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance grants a conditional use to allow a day care center. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request by a vote of 6-0. (The petitioner has requested that this case be withdrawn.) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE TO ABATE THE TAXES LEVIED FOR DEBT SERVICE ON THE $12,235,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2003, OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2002 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2002 This ordinance abates the 2002 tax levy requirements of the $12,235,000 General Obligation bonds, Series 2003. (Exhibit A) (Exhibit B) (Exhibit C) (Exhibit D) (Exhibit E) (Exhibit F) (Exhibit G) 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE RESERVING VOLUME CAP IN CONNECTION WITH PRIVATE ACTIVITY BOND ISSUES, AND RELATED MATTERS This ordinance authorizes the Village to transfer its 2003 private activity bond volume cap to Stern Brothers & Co. for a fee of $84,397.50 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 (VILLAGE GOVERNMENT) OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT VILLAGE CODE This ordinance amends Chapter 8, Section 115.F with regards to the Village's Ethics Disclosure Statement. Simplified Municipal Telecommunications Tax 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT BY THE AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE XV OF CHAPTER 8, IMPOSING A SIMPLIFIED MUNICIPAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS TAX AND REPEALING ARTICLE IX OF CHAPTER 6 This ordinance amends Chapter 8 of the code to reflect the new simplified telecommunications tax and to delete the telecommunications tax and the infrastructure maintenance fee. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance amends Appendix A of the code to reflect the new simplified telecommunications tax rate. *A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE OWNERS OF 18 W.
